The City of
Houghton
operates two
Precincts on
Election Day
(see below).
If you have

questions
about voter
registration
or where you
vote, please
call the
City Clerk's
office at
482-1700.
The City of
Houghton is
always
looking for
individuals
willing to
work at the
Precincts on
Election
Day. If you
are 16 years
or older and
a registered
voter of
Houghton
County you
are eligible
to work
following
completion
of adequate
training
sessions.
You will be
paid for
both time
spent at the
training
sessions and
Election
Day.
Interested
parties
should call
the City
Clerk's
office at
482-1700.
Registered
voters who
wish to vote
with an
absent voter
ballot must
fill out an
application
to request
an absent
voter ballot
prior to
election
day. The
voter must
check one of
the reasons
on the form,
provide
their
registered
address as
well as the
address they
would like
the ballot
sent, and
sign the
form and
return it to
the Clerk's
office:
