Assessments
are based
upon 50
percent of
true cash
value. Taxes
are paid
twice a
year: July
31 &
February 14.
After the
due date,
penalties
are incurred
for late
payment.

days of
buying or
selling
property a

Transfer
Affidavit
and a
Homestead
Exemption
Update or
Affidavit
must be
submitted to
the City
offices. If
a property
is a
homeowner's
principal
residence,
there is a
savings of
18 mills of
taxes.
