A Planning Commission Parking Deck Committee was formed following a request from the City Council to come up with options for the big downtown parking deck. The Committee is comprised of Planning Commission members:
Tom Merz, Chairperson
Dan Liebau, Vice-Chairperson
Mike Needham, Secretary
Eric Waara
The first meeting of the Committee was held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. At that meeting, the committee agreed to a schedule for their future meetings which are all open to the public. The committee will meet on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 12:00 noon.
The next meeting of the committee will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at noon in the City Center Council Chambers. This meeting will be live streamed on the City of Houghton Facebook page.
Socially distanced seating is available to the public. Facial Coverings are required as tolerated. The committee also accepts public comment by correspondence sent to the Clerk (ann@cityofhoughton.com).
