Houghton Public Transit

The City of Houghton operates a bus system offering basic services to residents and visitors with regular routes and on-demand services.

Punch cards can be purchased for $20.00 each from any transit driver or at the City of Houghton offices. Bicycles are not allowed on transit buses.

Houghton County Airport

Houghton County Airport (CMX) is a full-service facility with two 6500-foot paved runways and a modern spacious terminal. Skywest Airlines provides airline service for United Airlines to the Houghton County Airport. For more information, visit the Houghton County Airport website
